Pride on the Elizabeth line!
Celebrating our Elizabeth line Pride Train!
To celebrate Pride Month in London (June 2023), the Elizabeth line unveiled a very special bright and colourfully wrapped Class 345 train.
Launched at London’s Paddington station by the Deputy Mayor for Transport Seb Dance and Transport for London Commissioner Andy Lord, the train celebrates the diversity and contributions the LGBT+ community brings to our city.
It says yes to pursuing a greater understanding of one another. It says yes to celebrating everyone working within the TfL family.
Based in a culturally diverse city, MTR Elizabeth line colleagues see the benefits of diversity every day. As a contemporary entrant into the rail industry, we have been proud to champion diversity from an early stage. We believe it is vital that our workforce represents the communities we serve, as we can only be successful if we move closer to this aspiration.
As the operator of London’s flagship railway, we welcome customers from around the world and are dedicated to celebrating diversity, ensuring that every story matters.
