MTR Elizabeth line named Rail Operator of the Year!

In further recognition of an impressive first year, MTR Elizabeth line was named Rail Operator of the Year at the 2023 National Transport Awards.

The National Transport Awards are known for consistently shining a spotlight on the dedication, expertise, success, and innovation of the hard-working teams dedicated to continually enhancing the transport networks across the UK.

As the country’s newest railway, with more than 700,000 passenger journeys every day, this award acknowledges the extraordinary work and commitment required to successfully deliver the Elizabeth line.

MTR Elizabeth line’s Managing Director Mike Bagshaw said: “I know I speak for the entire team when I say we are incredibly honoured to have been named Rail Operator of the Year.
