Personnel Today Award winners
Health and wellbeing – Smaller Employers
We’re delighted to have won the Health and Wellbeing Award – Smaller Employers at the Personnel Today Awards, held on Tuesday 21 November. A deserved win for our People and Culture team.
We are committed to making continuous improvements to support our people in being their best self. This award represents MTREL’s commitment to everyone’s health and wellbeing, and the developments we have made throughout the year to improve this.
This includes:
- The introduction of on-site physiotherapy.
- A mental health and workplace culture improvement programme, which has included training more colleagues to be mental health first aiders.
- Rebranding our Wellbeing Centre and relocating it onto our recognition platform.
- Onboarding a new supplier for our Employee Assistance Programme, MTR Support.
A huge credit for this win goes to our Head of Occupational Health and Wellbeing, Neil Boyd, who leads on a range of wellbeing-focused programmes to help make health and wellbeing support accessible to everybody.
Neil said: “I’m so pleased we won. We are also proud to have achieved finalists in the HR Impact Award category at the Personnel Today Awards. Well done to the People & Culture team!”
