Brew Monday
MTR Elizabeth line marks Brew Monday

Today, we marked Brew Monday at MTR Elizabeth line.
We were fortunate to be joined by Samaritans volunteers at our stations and head office, who have been sharing the message that Samaritans are available to support those who are struggling to cope.
We heard from Samaritans volunteer Andy Baines-Vosper at our monthly Town Hall, who was accompanied by his ‘bag of worries’. The bag, weighing 24.7kg, is a symbolic representation of the weight people feel on their shoulders from stress and anxiety.
Andrew encouraged everyone to ‘share the weight’, by taking just five minutes to check in on each other.
This Brew Monday, let’s remember to ask for help, accept the bad days, embrace the good days, and remember that there’s always someone to talk to.
